Wendy Harawa Foundation Brings Smiles to Mkomachi L.E.A. – But We Need Your Help to Do More!
Today, the Wendy Harawa Foundation had the honor of bringing smiles to the faces of students at Mkomachi L.E.A. with a generous desk donation. It was a heartwarming moment to see the children’s joy, knowing that they now have a better learning environment. However, there is still much work to be done.
Currently, the school is in urgent need of 700 more desks and two additional school blocks, as Standard 4 students are without a proper classroom. This is a critical situation that requires immediate action.
We are incredibly grateful for the Ministry of Education’s collaboration and the efforts of the Director of Infrastructure Development, who has already begun installing fencing and working on an additional block. But we can’t do it alone—we need your support to ensure that our children have the facilities and resources they deserve.
Our Immediate Needs:
- 700 Desks
- 2 School Blocks
- Classroom for Standard 4 Students
We are calling on individuals, organizations, and partners to join us in empowering Malawi’s future leaders. Education is the foundation of a brighter tomorrow, and together, we can make that happen. Let’s take ownership of our children’s education and invest in the progress of our nation. Boma ndife anthu amene, and together with our leaders, we can create a better Malawi for the generations to come.
